Hiya, thanks for visiting my website! This sassy mantis and I are both happy you're here. In this often cruel and gross world full of too many cranky losers, I hope my writing can be a little island of positivity and/or fun for you.
Here's a handy list of my published stuff:
In addition to the books, I also have a podcast! Or more accurately, my writer pals and I have a podcast. I wrote the scripts, they voice acted and produced it, and it's called Space Mantis. I am so proud of my Mantis crew, and endlessly thankful to them for putting so much of their time and energy into it. It's a space opera comedy, and we would be so happy if you'd listen and spread the word.
Here's a handy list of my published stuff:
- How to Break an Evil Curse, published by Black Spot Books, is out at last, after a Covid-related delay! It's the first installment of a YA fairytale series. It's pseudo-medieval, with royalty and pirates and asparagus and talking raven blood.
- "Jolly Old Saint Ryan" is my short story in the anthology Dead of Winter. The anthology is packed with some lovely winter/seasonal horror stories.
- Grimbargo, a rather gory sci fi story, was published by Spaceboy Books. It's near-future sci fi where death isn't a thing anymore and the scrappy main characters go up against some evil scientists.
- Come Back to the Swamp, is a fantasy realism novella published by Black Spot Books. Come Back to the Swamp is also available as an audiobook! Yay, audiobook! Instead of listening to depressing crap on NPR, you can listen to a swamp witch story for a change!
- "Movin' on Up", my short story in the anthology A Midnight Clear, is also published by Black Spot Books. "Movin' on Up" is basically Charles Dickens except without the archaic lingo, and without actually a lot of stuff that makes Dickens Dickens.
- "Conference on Saving the Country from Destruction with the use of Pharmaceutical Intervention" is my short story in the anthology The Future Will Be Written By Robots, which is published with Spaceboy books. I edited this anthology, too, so you know who to blame if you spot a typo.
